Perhaps the Constitution no longer suits us?

Hello fellow thinkers,

I found this on the Family Research Council site:

In 1798 President John Adams said "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people..."

Hmmm.....
History revisionists say that the founding fathers were all immoral Deists. Any wonder that less-than-moral agnostics keep "improving" the constitution to condemn God and enshrine every sin as a sacred right?

Who is defending the original intent of the constitution?
Most public officials take an oath to "defend the constitution of the United States". Perhaps it is time to start suing for breech of contract. Do you thank that the ACLU will take any of those cases for us? The more "medical marijuana" they smoke the more likely it is to happen, don't you think?

Any thoughts?
